2020 Senior Spotlight - Emily Butler

Emily is a graduating Senior from Trinitas Classical Academy - as a homeschooler.

She has maintained a 4.0 while taking honors classes.  She was named "Distinguished Young Woman" of Lauderdale County.  She was selected for Girls State and won the position of Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries at Alabama Girls State. She was selected for Youth Leadership Shoals, was the CEO of TCA's Robotics team her 10th-grade year, was featured in 2 magazines, was the Dance Captain for Madagascar, Jr. with the Gingerbread players. She has danced for 16 of her 18 years (competitively for 10 years, winning many regional and state awards). She was honored as "Top Homeschooler in North Alabama" by Capitol Day. She was an intern for U.S. Congressman, Bradley Byrne's U.S. Senate campaign, was selected as a page for Alabama Senator Stutts. She has spent many hours volunteering for local charities as well as holding down 2 jobs, a lab tech for Applied Chemical Technologies and a social media director for Lucky Finds Boutique.

For college, she plans to go to Northwest-Shoals to get her basics and then transfer to either UNA or Alabama.

During quarantine, she has kept very busy working as the social media director for Lucky Finds, babysitting, and finishing the last bit of her school work.

Lastly, we are proud to call this little one, our daughter!  We could not be more proud of who she is and all she has become! :)
