2020 Senior Spotlight - Preston Hardin

Preston Keith Hardin is a Senior at Florence High School.

He has several accomplishments: the leader on the football team, starting player every year he played (age 6 - senior year) Freshman - Senior year. All State player Junior & Senior year, Alfa player of the week Sparkman game, 2 years 7A State Playoffs, Academic Achievement 4 years. Wrestling 3 years.

Preston plans to attend Mississippi State (MSU) & major in Mechanical Engineering. He really liked the campus and the small-town feel. He also applied to UAH, UA, MSU & Auburn.

During quarantine, he worked the first week, then has been off work at home or with his girlfriend. He spent his birthday at home with a small dinner & cake, since we couldn’t do our usual go out to eat with all the family. He has asthma so he seems more concerned about this virus, although it is not really his nature; he has never stressed about anything. He entered this world after 9/11, and he will finish high school in quarantine.
