What to bring

Do you have questions about what to bring?

This stage is very much about the cake and the party theme.  So bring all of that. 

Bring either an outfit that reflect this theme, and/or a coordinating diaper cover. 

Bring the cake.

HELPFUL TIPS about the cake

• Let the cake sit in room temperature for a few hours so it is warm and easy for baby to get into.
• Avoid fondant icing – babies often dislike the texture
• A 6" to 9" cake with buttercream icing is usually best.  If you are brining a cake stand, just make sure the cake fits well in the stand.
• If using a colored icing remember this may stain baby’s skin; red velvet cake, for an instance, will also stain the baby’s skin and it will look like the baby is injured in the photos.  Keep this in mind when choosing colors.

Bring party decorations that you want to use in the set.  Although we do have neutral props, this session is best to reflect the theme of the party.

Bring a towel, lots of wipes, and change of clothes for baby.

Also, remember, you will also likely get messy too.  So keep that in mind when you are dressing yourself. :)
