2020 Senior Spotlight - Sarah Grossheim

Sarah is graduating at 5th place in the top ten of the senior class at Lexington.

She has a 4.26 GPA along with taking honors and dual enrollment classes. She played basketball her whole high school career and during her senior year, she was recognized as the Fox Sports Shoals Scholar-Athlete of the week. She was also on the track team. She started her junior year and got 2nd place in the 3A state championship for discus. Unfortunately, she did not get to perform for her senior year because of the coronavirus. She is a member of FCCLA, Key Club, Mu Alpha Theta, National Technical Honor Society, and Brown's 90s plus club. She is the secretary of the National Honor Society and was the reporter of her senior class. She was also on the senior homecoming court.

For college she plans to go to Northwest-Shoals to get her basics and then transfer to a larger university.

During quarantine, she has been spending time outdoors and exploring in the woods.
