At Butler Studio, one of our basic beliefs is that portraits really matter. They aren't superficial, they can truly change the way a child feels about him or herself. This is especially true with family portraits and individual portraits at critical ages. Studies have proven this.
We have also seen the enormous impact that a child well-loved can have on the world. We see foster and adoptive parents as the superheroes who can take a child from hopeless to hopeful, from useless to powerful. We also know that this is not easy. We want to take a day to thank these unsung heroes. We can make an impact for the good if we use our God-given talents and resources, for us that's photography. And we believe it is POWERFUL!
On Sunday, July 26, 2020, we will host a Foster and Adoptive Event at Montgomery Place in Sheffield. We will provide a free family portrait session (and free images as well) for area families who are currently fostering or who have adopted children. There is nothing to purchase! It's all FREE!
Sessions are free, but we will be by appointment only so that we can get as many in as possible. If you qualify for a free session, book your session below.
Are you not an adoptive/foster parent but want to help?
We are looking for people to join us in this endeavor. My desire is to also provide a free meal for these families while they are there, as well. (This is just one less meal for the families to provide).
Who knows anyone that would be willing to donate food? Who can donate their time to serve? Who can help spread the word? Who could help style these families? Hair/makeup/clothes?
Montgomery Place and Shoals Sav-A-Life are joining me to make this happen. Who else is with me?
