School Portraits - FAQs

For most schools, your access code is your Student ID number that is assigned by the school. It will be in the physical proof that is delivered to the school a few weeks after picture day and the email we sent.

For security reasons, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE OUT THE ACCESS CODE DIRECTLY.

You can often find the Student ID in several convenient places: 

• Report Cards or Progress Reports
• Student or Parent Portal
• School Issued ID Card
• Official School Documents

Unfortunately, our system is only able to send one text/email per contact due to sms and email regulations.

NO, you do not have to preorder. However, preorder is the cheapest and fastest option. We have a 20% prepay discount.

If your student was photographed, a proof will be delivered to the school a few weeks after picture day. 

Exceptions are a few Santa picture days, Spring sibling pictures, and Prom/Homecoming, please review your school's page to verify if this is a prepay only event.

For MOST of our picture days, a proof will be delivered to the school in 3-4 week after picture day.

Most likely, no. If you placed your order using an envelope (cash or check), your order will be delivered to you in the same manner, along with a physical print for you to scan and download. Your friends might have placed their orders online. In such cases, our lab links their email address to the order, enabling them to receive a link even before the packages are printed.

We strive to create a portrait you will love! For Fall Portraits, there will be a scheduled remake day where your child can be re-photographed, and we’ll reprint your order at no cost to you.

If a remake day is not available for your event, don’t worry! Please email us at info@butlerstudio.net, and we’ll be glad to discuss other options to make it right.

If you preordered, your package will be delivered to the school in 3-4 weeks after picture day. If you ordered from the proof, it will be delivered to the address you provided within 14 business days.

If you prepaid, these packages will be ordered in bulk and delivered to the school a few weeks after picture day. 

If you ordered online from the proof, it will be delivered to the shipping address you provided.

Yes! For an expired event, we are still able to offer a digital file for $29.
